ASB Cash cleaver

 

This morning we went on a zoom call with a very nice lady witch worked at ASB. Her name was Dominic. We learnt how to save and earn money at a young age. I learnt that I can earn money for doing a whole lot of stuff like the Paper run , Car washing and even to walk dogs. I really enjoyed learning about it and finding ways to save and invest. I really had a good time and from this experience I am going to start saving for things that I really want.

This is what me and my class did today. Something I learnt was how to use shapes to make different things like what I did on my 7th slide. Do Think I didn't like was the first one were we had to add until we reached 1000 I used so many combinations but still I didn't reach 1000.

questions that we had to answer and I got it all correct.

Something I liked was that we got to do protoc right 

after the quick warm up.Something I found hard was 

having to work quickly of the warm up.

This is what my class and I did today. Something I liked about these pieces of writing was that it was personal and we could pick out of many different choices what we wanted to write about. But at the same time something I didn't like was having to chose its more easier if the teacher were to pick because there are so many choices that you could pick from witch mad it even more difficult. Something I need to improve on is my spelling and the detail that I at putting into my writing.

Today me and my class did a Weekly Quiz and here is my answers that I got fully of google.Something I found hard was finding what to put into google to find the answer and another thing I found hard doin was having to look for so long just to find an answer.Something I enjoyed was being able to work with my friend Alicia if I didn't know the answer and she did she would help me and if she didn't know the answer I helped her.

My vacation

 

This is when I when on a trip to Fiji back in year 4 2019. Something I enjoyed was writing a recount and remembering all the great things me and my family did together. Something I have to do better is I have to work on my spelling and were I place my words adding more discretion and more detail would have helped is well!!

This is the math that I did today the game is called Hit the button. What I learnt I learnt how to be quick and how to double bigger numbers. Something I liked was having lots of different answers so if I got it wrong I could try again.

Rock Candy Experiment!

 

This is the rock candy experiment that me and my group worked on together. We had three people in our group Alicia , kayleigh and myself. Something that I learnt was how to work together with a group of people and how to contribute everyone's ideas. Something I didn't like was having some disagreements with little things like the backgrounds and the pictures that we added at the end. Something I liked the most about this was working with my friends and having fun doing it together. 

Time Travel

 

This week we write about time travel I learnt that it is very fut to make up stories and create your own fict shonil characters like the first nice middle and even there last name! Something I have to work on is making my writing shorter so its easier to read and not using the same sentence starter over and over again something I enjoyed was adding my friend Alicia in the story even tho she was only on the first page!!

South Auckland Tornado

 

Today we were reading about how a tornado recently hit south of Auckland, I learned that there was a big tornado in south of Auckland that killed one person and injured to others . I have to work on adding more detail and description into my learning and writing. Something I enjoyed was having to make the word search for my friend to do she found it difficult (and honestly I liked seeing her struggle ) but it wasn't that hard
